The TeacherPreps Guarantee
Prepare with TeacherPreps, prove your readiness on our practice tests, and if you do not pass your certification exam, your continued prep is on us: we extend your access free of charge, up to two additional months, so you can keep studying until you pass.
No test prep company can honestly promise you a passing score, and we do not. Our promise is different: if you put in the work and fall short, you will not pay to keep preparing. Full conditions are below.

Guarantee Terms and Conditions
Effective date: July 13, 2026.
1. What this guarantee is
The TeacherPreps Guarantee is a conditional free-access program. If you meet the conditions in Section 2 and do not pass your certification exam, we extend your TeacherPreps access free of charge as described in Section 4 so you can continue preparing for your next attempt. This guarantee provides continued access to our platform; it does not provide cash refunds. TeacherPreps does not promise, warrant, or guarantee that any customer will pass any exam.
2. Eligibility conditions
All of the following must be true:
- You took the official certification exam either while your paid TeacherPreps subscription was active, or within 7 days after your subscription ended.
- Before your exam date, you completed BOTH full-length TeacherPreps practice tests for that exam inside your TeacherPreps account, in Timed mode, and scored at least 90% on each. Tutor-mode attempts do not count. Scores are verified from our server records of your completed attempts. Screenshots or scores achieved outside your account cannot be accepted.
- You did not pass the corresponding official exam on that attempt.
3. How to claim
- Email support@teacherpreps.com within 90 days of your exam date with your official, unaltered score report from the testing provider.
- The first and last name on the score report must match the name on your TeacherPreps account.
- Limit one guarantee claim per exam per person.
4. How much free study time you receive
An approved claim earns free access matching the number of your last two monthly billing cycles that were purchased at the full published price, up to two additional months. Billing cycles purchased under any promotion, discount code, coupon, sale, or partner offer do not count toward free months.
Examples:
- Month 1 purchased with a 20% discount, month 2 at full price: an approved claim earns one month of free access.
- Month 1 discounted, months 2 and 3 at full price: an approved claim earns two months of free access.
- Four months all at full price: an approved claim earns two months of free access.
5. How and when your free access is added
Approved free months are added to your account within 3 business days of approval, and your access is reactivated if your subscription has already ended. Free months never convert into paid billing, and you may cancel at any time. We will confirm receipt of your claim within 3 business days.
6. General terms
- This guarantee applies exclusively to TeacherPreps subscriptions purchased directly through teacherpreps.com. Study guides, workbooks, and any other materials purchased through Amazon or any other third-party platform or retailer are not covered by this guarantee; those purchases are governed by the return policies of the platform where they were made.
- This guarantee applies to the TeacherPreps monthly subscription, the only plan we currently offer. It does not create any right to cash refunds, and it does not limit any non-waivable rights you have under the laws of your state.
- If any provision of this guarantee is found unenforceable in a given jurisdiction, the remaining provisions continue in full effect there.
- TeacherPreps may update these terms for future billing cycles; the terms in effect when a qualifying payment was made govern that payment.

TeacherPreps is an independent study platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ETS, Pearson, Evaluation Systems, NES, any state department of education, or any certification testing provider. Praxis, NES, TExES, ILTS, MTEL, and all other exam names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
